John Voight
John grew up on his family homestead at Chugwater, Wyoming, and still manages that centennial ranch and other properties near his hometown. Both entrepreneur and Renaissance man, John’s career encompasses wheat farming in Saudi Arabia, residential and commercial real estate management in Wyoming, performer and entertainer as a one-man-band, and restaurateur.

John’s most ambitious project embraces mining and mineral development as the owner of the Sunrise Iron Mine, which drove the steel industry in Colorado for eighty years. As a rancher, John works from a position of stewardship, working closely with his community on diverse projects, ranging from high school trade education to paleoarchaeology. A student of life and the land, John’s formal education includes an Associate’s Degree in Agriculture from Casper College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Wyoming.
